Jay Filichia - Contracting
Jay Filichia is Joel Nelson Productions' jack of all trades. In addition to being our top Bar and Bat Mitzvah DJ/Emcee for over 10 years, Jay handles the contracting for all of our talent. He is keenly aware of the broad spectrum of music and variety entertainment throughout the Bay Area, and he has a unique knack for finding the right man or woman for the job. He also has an encyclopedic knowledge of popular and obscure music (don't mess with him in a game of "Name That Tune!")
Jay is also an accomplished musician, having studied bass guitar at Berklee School of Music in Boston. In addition, he is an avid hockey player and can be regularly found cross-checking the competition.
"I have had so much fun doing this for JNP, I can't imagine my life without music and event entertainment. I am very good at a few things in life, and it seems like this place brings out the best in me and all of my co-workers. I am proud to have been here for over 10 years..." says Jay.
